Traffik - Making Floors Last Longer

Traffik by the very nature of its services helps protect the environment reducing the land-fill of products which are not easily bio-degradable (carpets and resilient flooring containing products such as polypropylene, nylon and PVC), we prolong their useful life through regular cleaning and maintenance, recolouring, redesigning and upgrading to render fit for purpose. Ensuring they are in the best possible condition to be recycled should this be necessary.

We take a proactive approach towards protecting the environment and have adopted many measures that take Traffik beyond legal compliance with the Environmental Protection Act. Working with our Flooring Manufacturer Service Partners we aim to extend the life of their products way beyond the maximum warranty periods and are an integral element in their Cradle to Cradle programmes.

Many of the products Traffik use are from natural sources such as corn husk, citrus oils, calcite salts and silicates.

We re-use product containers and fill from bulk sources.

Our polishes do not contain styrenes and where possible we specify the use of water based products. 

The use of crystal clear products that can withstand in excess of one million foot impacts applied to existing resilient floors to upgrade their slip resistance prevent their premature replacement due to changing safety regulation or poor specifications.

Our services assist in improving indoor air-quality within facilities, by aiding the reduction of gasses caused by volatile organic compounds,  use of triple and quadrouple filtration vacuum extraction machinery to reduce the likelihood of fine dust fallout.
